Compak Sporting

What Compak Sporting is, how it differs from ordinary shooting, what role FITASC plays and how to prepare for your first session.

Compak Sporting is a dynamic clay target shooting discipline that combines precision, rhythm and reading the flight path of the target correctly. If you have only shot at static targets so far, this is a completely different experience.

What Compak Sporting is

Compak Sporting is a hunting discipline that simulates situations from the hunt. Clay targets are thrown on different flight paths and at different rhythms, so the shooter must observe carefully, judge the flight path and react at the right moment. It is shot with a shotgun, from several shooting stations.

Who the discipline is for

Compak Sporting is meant for anyone who wants to get to know the discipline, practise precision or improve their control when shooting. For hunters it offers practical training that links hunting experience with work at the range, and for recreational shooters a new and dynamic challenge.

FITASC: rules that apply everywhere

FITASC is the international federation devoted to sport shooting in clay target disciplines. Its rules govern the course of a competition, the work of the referees, safety on the shooting line and the way scores are counted. Thanks to uniform rules, a result has the same meaning in training and in competition, and clear scoring helps you track your progress. Read more on the FITASC page.

In Compak Sporting, success does not depend on reaction speed alone. Knowing the procedure, a calm rhythm and proper preparation are as important as shooting technique.
