Rules and sporting standards
FITASC
FITASC brings together clay target shooting disciplines and sets the rules that make competition fair, safe and comparable.
FITASC and Compak Sporting
FITASC is the international federation devoted to sport shooting in clay target disciplines. Its rules govern the course of a competition, the work of the referees, safety on the shooting line and the way scores are counted.
Why the rules matter
Uniform rules mean a score has the same meaning in training and in competition.
Safety protocols determine movement at the shooting stations and the handling of firearms.
Clear scoring helps a shooter track progress and set realistic goals.
In Compak Sporting, success does not depend on reaction speed alone. Knowing the procedure, a calm rhythm and proper preparation are as important as shooting technique.
